Traditional newlyweds’ promenade and wedding dance, a reward ceremony for couples who celebrate their marriage anniversary, music concert starring the Mariinsky Theater lead singer Vasily Gerello is taking place at the Peter and Paul Fortress.

The Family Virtues Day is traditionally celebrated in Russia on July 8th in honor of SS Prince Peter and his wife Febronia who lived in Russian town of Murom and who are considered to be patron saints of family and marriage.
In 2019 the celebration will be held on Sunday, July 7th
Newlyweds and anniversary participants will be rewarded with commemorative medals especially printed at the State Mint.
Some modern artists and singers, winners of various music contests are participating in the concert.
